My long term "serious" pro touring project: Nicknamed "The juggernaut" 'cause it would seem nothing can stop it! View attachment 37284

Thanks. I'm new to the site, and new to forums in general, but have been a long time G body fan. You'll have to forgive my inexperience with this, but I'm far handier with a wrench and a welder than a keyboard
Lol

There are exhaust cutouts to run open headers, but they're hidden underneath (going to be) with electric valves to run wide open at the flick of a switch. The side exit points are where the exhaust will exit normally. I wanted to be a bit different than the usual side exit, and have it come out the quarter rather than underneath.
However, anyone that knows G bodies, knows that there's a body mount and LCA mounting point there. The only way to do it was come up thru the floor and under the seatbelt box.

It's clear you have some skills. Very nice Cutlass and nice ram air set up. Please tell more about the engine build.
The engine is actually out of my first car, a smogger J headed 455 in a '76 Cutlass Salon. After blowing it up street racing with no oil pressure (I was 17 lol) I built it up to be a street strip brawler. It was good for low 13's at 3500 ft elevation.
Now, it's been reworked again:
0.30 over, stock stroke
Forged alum Pistons, 9.8:1 comp
Lumpy Mondello cam
F casting heads (for now) with W30 valves, Comp roller rockers, Mondello heat riser block offs, and substantial porting
Port matched Edelbrock dual plane
Holley 750HP double pumper
Meziere electric water pump
Mondello windage tray and valley cover
Moroso 7qt oil pan
Etc etc
Backing it up with a T56 6 speed this time ;-)

What an awesome ride. Welcome!
Thank you!
It's nice to be welcomed by like-minded G body enthusiasts.
I've got tons more pics, mods, and just plain cool features incorporated into the car, any questions at all, feel free to ask.
:)
