No I only had storm debris and thank you very much. I am a claims examiner/team lead for an insurance company in Florida and am dealing with a lot of claims first hand. We are powering through getting funds to our insureds. Good to work for a company that is ready as anybody can be. Unfortunately we are seeing the scamming and some looting going on. Trying not to be political, but I believe in trying to take care of our own. Look around and if you can fill a need...awesome. Wait a couple weeks and some things will become pretty apparent where the true needs are. Reach out to your circle, Salvation Army, Red Cross, local churches and organizations and see if you can lend a hand. As I get older I learn we are not separated by to much

I did the Houston relief trip a couple weeks ago and it was so rewarding to help out! I'm in the beginning phase of planning a Florida relief trip.
Somebody called the local newspaper and they called me last week to do an article. It was in the paper last Sunday and mentioned I'm wanting to go to Florida. People have been emailing me wanting to donate, I just need to secure a box truck for the trip!
I don't wanna get too deep into it, but I will NOT give the red cross anything! They don't give 100% of what they raise! I understand they have overhead, but they're the first people to want our money! Rant over!!!

Durring 9/11 they were the biggest bunch of bums!!!
All they did was hang around drinking coffee and cook for themselves.

The Salvation Army bent over backwards during 9/11.
During WWII they would toss cartons of cigarettes onto the trains leaving for the bases.
