IS THERE A SECRET TO INSTALLING TORQUE CONVERTER?

this is making me angry. ive tried two different ones on this 200r4 and neither will get on there. what am i missing here? :blam:

Are you talking about getting it to seat properly on the input shaft, or tightening the convertor bolts to the flexplate?

And your sure it's for a 2004r and not a 200?

I usually lube to converter hub with some trans fluid and push it onto the shaft as I'm rotating it (rotating the converter).

fwiw the th350/th400 you turn & push until it drops in twice on the 200-4R you do it three times or it doesn't fully seat. Don't ask me how I know. :oops:

x2....Don't ask me how I know either :oops: ...on the upside I now have a "built" front pump from Phoenix trans. :)
