I know you've heard it enough, but we need to bring manufacturing back to the US. I'm glad to say that I work for an American owned manufacturing company in the USA! But we all buy products made in other countries sometimes their isn't an option not to. I own a 79 Malibu and have many new and nos parts for it when the time comes for the full resto mod, however these era cars are becoming nonexistant in wrecking yards an so on. I'm all about recycling parts but tired of paying a fourtune for them if they can be found in decent shape. The Malibu guys need front and rear lenses (all of them), front & rear center filler panels, bumpers, package tray panels (someone removed mine for me), more inteior parts, windshield, rear glass, side (b-pillar included for the Landau's), trunk, quarter panel extention and header panel trim, emblems for the grille,B-pillar covers, dash, steering wheel and so on.I plan on a custom inteior as close as I can get to Monte Carlo SS dark gray or charcoal with modern touches here and there.I'm also going to upgrade the drivetrain because it can't withstand the engine that I built. I'm a long way from completing any of my projects except the Caprice. I currently have five projects going at once,A 87 Caprice,87 Silverado, 86 GMC Seirra,80 Buick Lesabre coupe (my first car),and my 79 Malibu in total I have 9 automobiles and an antique Farmall Cub tractor (which needs restored). Money is very tight at the moment and I'm currently unable to work on them physically, and I do not have a garage to work in.Some of the parts i've listed I have but are very hard to find for the Malibu and expensive if you buy nos. Please keep the Malibu's in mind, thanks Jon.
