I have a client who works at a Jaguar/Landrover dealership. He has a Jaguar F type and I won't tell you how little he pays for it. He was telling me the engine is a Pontiac Solstice engine with a turbo..they are both 2.0 engines but that's as far as I get trying to see if he is right. I'm not sure who built the Pontiac Solstice engine but I doubt it was Pontiac or even GM ......

I checked ole rock auto for part number interchange.

Nothing off a turbo 2.0 jag cross references with a GM. Cam sensor, coils, oil filters, zilch.

Solstice engine is the Ecotec as previously mentioned, so very plentiful.

It looks like more of a Ferd!!!

That 2.0 is a Jaguar designed and built engine. Some of the more recent ones use the terrible Fiat designed Multiair system.
Now if you were talking about the 2.0 turbo in the Land Rover Evoque that would be a different story as that engine is a Ford 2.0 Ecoboost as used in many domestic US Ford products.
