I noticed that too, it's a little eery. I think I was just looking at an old post of yours on tbssowners.com about stock height replacement shocks, etc.

I used Global Auto Transport based on the recommendation of a local car guy friend of mine. I am happy with them, some hiccups on pickup, multiple delays that put the seller in a bind, plus the driver I feel could of gotten closer to my house, had to drive it about a half mile home in the snow/salt LOL, it’ll be fine, not much got on it, but he could of gotten closer I feel.

The first two companies were through UShip. UShip itself is fine, Portkick was the first company, didn’t give them too long, a solid week though and not a word, then TCI had about 2 months(!) to do it, only one attempt where they arrived 4 hours early and the seller was at work. Fortunately I bought it from a car guy who has been through the transport issues before, he was patient and didn’t mind keeping it at his home.

And yes, the blue/yellow plates are cool and I asked to make sure they remained :D. Car was tagged through 2018 as you can see, have some paperwork left in the glovebox. A high school/college age girl drove it the last couple years before the trans had(has) reverse issues so her dad sold it, was in his name. Think this was last April or so, so it sat since at least then. The buyer has two other LeMans wagons and was going to use some parts off it, decided it was too clean for that and I agreed. Rest is history. Plus he was cool enough to gather some clean Monte doors to put in there for me, a nice bonus.

That looks super solid, as it should be, and a great start. It's well known you should start with the best possible piece you can afford.

Oh man...Jealous on those blue & yellow plates! Imagine you’re probably going to keep those and hang on your garage wall.

Mine came with blue and yellow plates and that's exactly where they ended up... on the garage wall.

Well we finally had a decent day outside so I went over the car, a little detailing and wiped down the body too, not really a full wash. Also scraped off a few of the stickers on the back glass. Might remove 1-2 more. Also picked up a set of pretty clean 14" Rally II's then bought new tires, 14" tires seem so cheap after buying 17-20"s. And yes, I had to go with whitewalls :D. Still have 15" snowflakes that will get RWL's later on so I can mix up the look. Still gathering parts and on the lookout for a few more things.
