Easy there, Iowa.

But yes the past month been busy with chickens, chainsaws and just this past weekend with the Ferd.

I've got the chicken coop and the pen built and the chickens are on a schedule now, I let them out in the morning and let them back in the coop in the evening. They are pretty easy now that everything is built. I don't even have to chase them in or anything, they know what to do.

I did some fiddling around with the Toyota too, which all started with a busted taillight. Now I've got an SE grille, decklid and spoiler and later style tail lights.

I really did need to get back to the truck. I just had to take a break from it for a while. It is really inconvenient not having around though. But I've got the hardest parts of that job done already.

I did buy a couple new toys in the form a chainsaw and a new welder. I actually had a couple bucks left over after selling the old chainsaw. I haven't had a chance to use it extensively but I have run it for a couple hours. It's a sweet little saw. I'm pretty happy with my welder purchase too.

I sold the Craftsman tractor a month or so ago, so I'm back to just the Cub Cadet. It doesn't need much of anything at the moment.

But working my way through all my projects, the Regal's turn is coming up.

Hey, just having fun. What you do with your time is your business, obviously. You're not the only guy that has restored a lawnmower.....

I know you guys are just messing around.

I'd love to be working on the Buick more and I will get to it but I just got bogged down with a lot stuff at once and I'm just slowly working through it. I had that little plumbing disaster over at the rental property which tied me up for a week or so. Now the A/C at my house kicked the bucket and it's done for this time. We limped it along all summer and it died again last weekend. Thankfully the weather has now cooled down so I'm not under the gun to get it replaced, but last week was hot and miserable.

Edit: I don't foresee any more tractors for a little while, but I have been experiencing a mouse problem in the shed where I store the Cub Cadet. They've been building nests inside the tractor which is obviously an issue. So I've been setting dozens of traps all around the shed and I've caught probably 20 of them total. I've been getting about one every other day for the past week. I've also been catching the chipmunks because they are overpopulated and they are digging tunnels under the back porch, which is now about to cave in on itself.

Here's some pictures of some of the stuff I've been working on-
