After an unexpected medical hiatus, I'm discharged, back to the world of technology, and, hopefully bringing y'all this month's theme...

I don't see anywhere my wife figured out how to do anything on my behalf the last couple months, let alone give a heads up to GP403 about the hospitalization. Let's all be thankful to him for stepping up to get something done. And now I know I don't give good enough instructions as well.

So, lets tee up june. We'll keep it to you haven't won yet this year, and, although we've done the theme in the past, let's showcase engines. Successful submissions need TWO pictures, one showcasing a view of the whole car, one showing off what's under the hood.

Can be a minty fresh survivor, a stock appearing swap, or anything crazy and wild. Show what you've got, ideally with a description of what people are looking at since that makes things more fun!

I was wondering if you were ok! Glad you're back. It's the internet, people come and go all the time. But it's good to see you here. 😅

And nicer still to be here, and I mean that multiple ways. 😉

I think I'm starting to feel like that Midwest gbody beater that's rotted to bits but still driven around we see making internet rounds from time to time... stuff on me still works, plenty of issues, but it all gets enough of the job done.

I hope your situation improves. You're out of the hospital. That's a good start.

Thanks. Still have a collapsed lung lobe and a few nodules under 1cm each the CT picked up to resolve.

Wonder what the car equivalent to that lingering problem would be, a collapsed lifter or a wiped cam lobe? Either way I'm not making the power and certainly dropped off the top end I used to have LOL.

I knew you were too hard headed to not be here, hahaha

Yeah, wife's never been into message boards and she had even asked me if I'd make the February theme 'pink cars' for valentines day.

I guess be thankful she DIDNT figure out my instructions how to use things here for the contests. Who knows what you would've gotten.

This health issue also has left me with my 'therapy project' I hinted to your about, I pulled it out of the warehouse where I parked it 25 years ago,.got it now stuck sitting halfway hauled in Virginia.

Should pick it up by months end to avoid another month storage fees.

Original accept for the alternator and ac parts.

Heres my LS Swap on my 81 El Camino! Recently finished by me and my dad in our garage. Still a few things until its back to my daily driver! It was my first car I bought when I was 15 and I turn 19 this summer. I pulled the 5.3 out of a 2001 Yukon and outfitted it with a lot of new stuff! LS6 intake with summit racing valve covers, Holley Mid Mount accessory kit and a lot more Holley stuff to for thew swap like oil pan and motor mounts. I ran the stock 229 V6 until it died and am super happy with the new swap. It definitely needs a wash next!

This bottom picture of the car is a little outdated as it was before the swap, it sits a little lower by about an inch and is on some 18 inch Iroc Replica wheels now!
