I have been working on my Buick for awhile now going to junk yards from week to week looking for parts and all i seem to find at junk yards/parts yards/salvage yards where ever i find my self most likely there are always 3-5 Old's and 1-2 MC's, and my luck there are rarely any Buick's and i have never seen any GP's or Malibu's.
So my question to GBodyForum and YOU is what parts from Old's And MC's are the hardest to find?(Rare) I hate to see any G-Body get crushed but it happens everyday and no news to you parts are getting harder and harder to find. So i have decided that everytime i go to the salvage yard i will grab a few things off them and post them on here for cost+shipping ( No Profit Intended ). I just need to know what GbodyForum is in need of!

I would think anything that is a limited use option should be saved, they made a lot if these cars, but things like 8.5" rear ends, aluminum drums, all the various support bars, T-Top parts, ralley gauge clusters, stainless trim, if the Montes are SS people around me pay big money for the nose and all the other pieces that make up an SS. A friend of mine just paid $1,200 for an SS body shell to get all the parts to make his LS an SS. Same goes for the Cutlass stuff to do a 442. I myself would take a pair of nice A post trim pieces ( dark blue preferred ) a 7.625 limited slip, an original GM gear set 3.05-3.42, if any of the Cutlass have a 260 in them I might be interested in some parts off the motor

OK, im omw out there now so ill check for those trim pieces for you. If anyone els is looking for things just post them and ill look, wile im out there i can read your posts from my phone.

Some hot items: Consoles, shifters, posi rear ends, firewall to radiator support bars, any 442, Hurst, or SS specific parts, t-top interior trim, interior plastic, rear sway bar, nice grilles/bezels, clocks, good cond bucket seats. Just to name a few........Some things I'd be interested in: nice 78-81 vinyl bucket seats, 87 442 gauge cluster, 81/88 Cutlass gray sport steering wheel & nice 81-86 cutlass salon/Calais grilles or bezels.

Don't know if this is helpful but you drag racers might like this. The Monte Carlo's came with complete plastic glove box's Inner and outer. You also need the lanyard cable attached to the back of the dash
