So many of you may not know me too well from I come and go off the forum as I please. I first joined when I needed some understanding of my 1982 Cutlass i purchased last October. With supply chain frustrations and the love for Oldsmobiles being expensive engine wise, today was a good surprise. I'm not well versed in the air conditioning systems on these cars but I stumbled upon a 1984 Cutlass Supreme with the heater box without AC setup and had to snag it. Here's pictures of the haul.

Did you get the inner duct that goes up to the defrost vents. It is different than that of an ac car. You also need the glove box.. i put this setup in mine

That is exactly what I have in my SS, minus the ducting. I have the correct Dash Control unit.

Built6spdMCSS sweet car!

This is probably a stupid question but what is the exact difference of the Non-AC under dash ducts versus the stock AC ducts I have? I have the ability to get the Non-AC ducts but I'm just curious especially because I want to use those fresh air vents.

The way they come off the heater core. The Glove Box is different too, it's a smaller compartment on the inside.

The ducting where I got mine was all busted up so I don't run them, everything else is there tho.

Okay, thank you for the information. I'll definitely go get that because if I can get it all to function I want to.

It's at a local junkyard so I know that no one has gotten to the rest of parts I'll need to get. I've scored all these parts off of a 1984 Cutlass sedan that looked to be clean for Northwest Ohio.

Yea get all you can. Mine isn't a daily driver so I wasn't too worried about it.
