Yep, the ugly duckling lol. Looking for marker lights to start. Also looking to see if anyone has grilles, headlight rings, taillight lenses, and a complete horn cap for a two spoke sport wheel. looking to see if anything is available right now. Thanks

I've been building a 442 clone for several years. NOTHING is available except new rubber seals and felts. I had to get pretty creative to make stuff presentable. Check out my build thread. Lots of restoration tips and tricks. I did a really neat trick with the side markers but don't know what page of my build thread its on. It starts out slow but gets a little momentum. That's a gem! Those 442's are the forgotten ones, but just as cool.

Hey man, great taste in cars. There's a guy with the same colour combo '78 that keeps winning his class at OCA meets.

As for the parts you're looking for- you want NOS or NOS quality? or just something to plug the gaps until you figure out what you wanna do with it?

Very cool find! Parts for those cars are getting harder to find. Make sure you check out Hafrod's build thread. He's done some great work on his car. Keep us updated with your progress.

Nice! I love the oddball cars, and I've had a few. 1974 Grand Am 4dr, 400 4spd (it is even more odd in the way it was optioned), a 1976 LeMans Sport Coupe with a factory installed 260 Olds V8 and BW 5spd trans. to name a few. Did the 442 come from Northern OH? I remember seeing a Black & Gold one a few years ago up that way, and the rear bumper was off. Anyway, nice score!

I have some parts for a 78 442. Parted one out about 10 years ago. It was red/gold with red interior. Car was in good condition except for rear frame rails. Interior was fair. Someone had started to spray paint the interior black but didn't finish it. I was able to save some of it, though. Most of the parts are in good condition but not show quality.
