Here's a few picture of past projects. They're not over the board things and big swap. But sometimes It can give idea to others.

The first one is an 1989 S10 with an Iron-Duke motor. The truck was for sale for 100$. Rebuild the front end and the cross of the box. The owner wanted the blue of the 2012 viper ...cost about 250$ the gallon pre-mix acrelyc.... extremely light paint, for a better finish I should have went for 4 layer... but anyway. As you can see , After I prime the whole thing I shot a the cab corners and the back of the box before reinstalling it. After that, we didn't shot inside the box since the cover was going in it and we already bust our 1000$ budget with the truck price included.

Second one is a Mustang GT (Cobra...but not really ..they didnt really exist in those years) 1989. The mecanic that do my yearly check-up on my vehicules, painted 2 red stripes on is mustang after I made him do the check up on the camaro I've rebuilded (that has 2 red stripes on it). When he put it for sell, I bought it, and removed those ugly thing (personnal opinion here, im completly bias lol). so I refresh the black paint and put some fog light cover with a rear window cover. I changed the rear-end from 3,78 to 3,27 ...big difference on fuel effencientcy and the car could do a lot better on the high way ...( 100 km/h reaching a 3700 rpm and with the modification at 100 km/h I got 2 800 rpm a lot less noisy to)

P.S: I did a redneck move on this car, don't do it if you love your vehicule!
I cheated on the paint for the mustang...I didn't want to invest a lot because I was studying so I did a quick body job and did a 15$ Anti-rust gloss-black paint from Canadien Tire home hardware section. Reduce the pain to be able to shoot it. Don't use that on your good vehicule.. the paint becomes to hard and will eventually crack up (even if you use the pre-adhesive can for plastic and body kit it will still crack ).... I use this kind of technique on vehicules that do heavy duty job and that need paint every year ( Hunter truck, muder , Trailers for wood carrying and ect) Be sure not to use your finish gun for this, just buy a cheap 50$ gun (primer gun) and gallon reducer. Boom For less then 100$ you got sand paper, a gun, gallon of black paint (you got a red firetruck and a white ( actually never tried the white...at your own risk) , reducer ( depend if you use thinner you can even clean after with it ).

The camaro is a urethane paint and the red stripes are actually one large stripes that was shot prior to the black. With detail tape we did the pin-stripes and shot the black. we just had to remove the tape after to show the design. (urethane cost a lot more but what a great finish)
