Kickdown bracket

My cable bracket won’t work
. And with my oem the transmission cable is a little offset
So that’s why I choose to use this bracket
Anybody run into this problem I beleave I have a th350

I have the same bracket with my Holley and turbo 350.
Turn the bracket for the transmission around.

Or u think I should continue to use the stock I notice it’s shifting late a little
Can I adjust the cable to make it shift sooner with the oem

Edelbrock makes the bracket you need for a TH350. Part number 8036. This bracket was on the motor in my 81 when I bought it.

Also looking at the cable end are you sure you have the right kickdown cable ? Yours looks like a TV cable from a 200 or 700R4

Really don’t know which trans I have
This is my first classic car
I’m only 23

On a stock quadrajet intake

Unless the previous owner put the one cable for the transmission because it has the same holes as the th350
