Picking up on HAFROD's theme of your favorite toys of the '80s, I'd like to know what your favorite TV shows were from the '80s? Even though it was already in syndication, I think my favorite show from the period had to be Dukes of Hazzard. Close follow-ups are MacGyver, Airwolf, Knight Rider, Magnum P.I. and The Wonder Years.

There are others that I have come to appreciate more as an adult, but those are the ones I enjoyed back in the day. What are your favorites?

There were lots of pop-culture icons in the 80's so I'm sure that I've forgotten a few good ones. Nonetheless here is my short-list (not in order of preference):
A-Team
Amazing Stories
Doctor Who
Dukes of Hazzard
MacGyver
Magnum P.I.
Married with Children
Knight Rider

Star Blazers (fire the Wave Motion Gun!)
Dr Who (Tom Baker era, not the Cricket guy)
Taxi (Jim and his wall of TVs)
WKRP (Loni Anderson - 'nuff said)
Magnum PI (whooda thought Vanagons would be cool again?)
Simon & Simon ('let's trade this thing in for something with guts' - Dodge pickup with a tow truck push bumper)
Hardcastle and McCormick (remember the Cody Coyote?)
The Fall Guy (The opener, slamming a Chevy short/wide down from 20 feet in the air? The rest of the show was pure crap)Star Trek Next Generation (Warp 9, Number One, make it so!)
Miami Vice (the fake Ferrari Daytona)

I mostly watched reruns after school in the '80s.
Giligan's Island
Scooby Do
Brady Bunch
Flinstones
Star Trek
Happy Days

I remember liking Hardcastle and McCormick but not getting to watch it often. Same with the A-Team. Later '80s was The Simpsons and Married with Children. Mmmm...Kelly Bundy.
