Lauren Eng hood scoop install

Can someone tell me the distance (based im the center of the hood) from the base to the OEM GN style hood scoop? Ive got a Lauren Eng GN hood scoop just trying to figure out dist from the base of the hood scoop to the back of the hood? Thanks

I have a factory 84 hurst olds hood, would those dimensions help?

Just checked mine its 2 1/2 inches from the back of black trim to the base of the scoop.
