I need some LED replacements for #194 push-in bulbs. They are used as side markers, dash lights, etc. I am shying away from the cheap-ola Chinese offerings. I researched here and see that the Sylvania ZEVO are highly recommended. How about the Phillips? Any good? Any others?

I have looked and decided on the Sylvania ZEVO, I'll get some this winter and plan on getting some for the taillights and signal lights up front

How bright are they? Besides the car I want to use them on the all-around-light on a boat. It needs to be seen at two miles.

leds are brighter than stock bulbs, the light is more intense. I was watching a video on the Sylvania LED brake lights. He had the LED on one side and the OEM bulbs on the other. The LED was not only brighter but you can notice that they come on faster as well.

Lemme find some pics. Don't buy the Zevo bulbs which are the same as the regular sylvania LED's but cost almost $6 more per pair. Back in a few.

Dang, must have deleted most of the pics. Likely in my build thread but lazy right now. These are the bulbs I got. The Zevo bulbs are in a black package. I got the diff stores to price match and ended up finding the best price at walmart...

I did see your pics. That is where I learned about them. So you are saying the regular Sylvanias are the same brightness as the ZEVO? I usually judge by the Kelvin number- 6000 at least.

The ZEVO are listed as 6000k while the regular LED are 2000k, or "cool white". Those will be fine for the side markers and dash but I want INSANE bright for the all-around-light. The Phillips are also 6000k.

The Sylvania are running about $9 a bulb and the Phillips $6 a bulb. Both are 6000k.
