Looking for Production numbers on my Cutlass Salon

While doing some thinking,i was wondering how many of the 3,000 1986 Salons were Burgundy Metallic (79U),is this color popular or rare for this year,and i want to find out the production numbers of a 1986 cutlass salon with the VIN 9 307 just for the hell of it.

my car is also a salon............1985 though. same color 79 burgandy metallic. sent away to GM CANADA for paperwork, (will attach link for US GM site) and according to them my car is one of 44 produced in canada in that color for 1985

I'm guessing that yours......being 1986 is also fairly rare. most salons were order only, or dealer ordered for specific customers who were looking for a fully loaded supreme, not premanufactured like the supremes and broughams. T roofs or astro roof increases the rarity. basically the salons are as rare as 442 and hurst olds. mine is one of 1,437, of those 298 had T tops (which mine does), and only 44 salons are burgandy metallic. that makes my car more rare than a 1985 442.......................
