Lost keys

I lost the only set of keys to my 83 Bonneville Wagon. Dumb question but are the Malibu lock set the same? I can find a listing for 79-83 Malibu wagons but not the Pontiac

Do you have a front load washing machine?

The tailgate key is the same as the doors. If the locks all work, get a new ignition lock cylinder and replace it in the column (probably worn anyway). Have to pull the wheel, but if you have a tilt, tighten the Torx bolts while you are in there. Pull a cylinder from one of the doors and take it to a locksmith - good ones can cut you a key for it.

I ask because I lost my 442 keys for 2 weeks before finding them under the door/tumbler seal of the front load washing machine with the door hat opens the wrong way that my wife just had to have.

I drove my other car to work one day (had the wagon keys in the ring) went to leave and my keys were gone. Looked in the car, dads truck and around the house. I think someone stole them planing on coming back that night and taking my car

The paranoia of losing my keys is why I have at least 2 sets of keys to every vehicle I own. I'm pretty sure that I have 4 separate sets for the Monte Carlo. Lol. Having copies cut from the originals is so cheap and easy.
