im sure alot of you have lowered your cars and i was wondering how everyone did it. im sure mostly with spindles and springs but has anyone cut the springs.

yea that is nice looking. are those 20's

Yeah doggy. Do it the right way. Dont cut or heat em up. I 've seen crazy results from both. Now some will chime in and say cutting is cool, but you gotta know the specs on the spring you are about to cut. Cutting it changes alot. I went with Belltech 2" drop spindles and OPG 1" drop springs up front. 2" OPG drop spindles out back. This setup was based off of TTOP T's ride. Im running the same size wheel and used his ride as a ref for how much lower I wanted to go. I just did my rear springs and Belltech Nitro drop shocks. Starting the front next week. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

Here's another side view of Tony's clean SS...

I lowered my Regal, which has the same wheel well profile as the Montes do, with 2" Ground Force Drop Spindles and 1" Eibach Pro Springs all the way around with KYB shocks. Ive got a bunch of oter suspension goodies as well. The tire wheel combo is 17x8 Coys C5 wheels with 4.5" backspacing on 235/45 and 255/45 sumitomo tires. Please do it the correct way and get spindles and springs.
