Hi,

I can't make sense of those moog springs.
Is there someone here who can give me a straight forward answer on wich springs to use for a 2" inch drop in the back?

Much appreciated if someone could!

Thx

Wellston, OK
2" from OE, or 2" from 40 year old worn-out springs?

That's a good one.
I'd say 2" from my worn 40 year old springs.

I was thinking maybe if I measure up the height of the arches now maybe someone could recommend me the springs i need?
Or is that the wrong way of thinking about it?

I’ve got the 2” lower rear springs from UMI. It sits high.
I guess that's the contrast you get against the worn old spring.
A guy here in holland had some 3" lowering springs for sale.
Maybe they'll give me the desired height? 🤔

How many inches do you have from the top of the axle to the pocket on the chassis where the spring sits?
This is referred to as install height.
10" ish is considered stock on these cars.
