how are you guys connecting the purple/pink vac hose to a vac block? do you know what size id that is? or wth i can use to attach to my vac block? i have a holley block i believe the threaded areas are 1/8 npt and 1/4 .i can figure that out just not sure what to use to connect to that actual small vac line.

ordered some 1/8 od line and fittings, hoping i can splice this together. Not sure they make them much smaller.

i used a piece of shrink tube to in act as a sleeve to fit(accordingly) into a small section of rubber hose.this pic isn't of it going into the block but it paints a picture, hopefully it'll help. i don't know what size hose that is,it was just what i came across in my travels. 20240821_202743.jpg

ok so you were able to basically splice them using some shrink wrap? i ordered a 1/8 barb and pushlok fitting. hopefully it works. if it fits ill put some shrink wrap on it. thanks

So i do not have the space for the vacuum ball. there are 2 hoses coming out of firewall red and grey. does anyone know if BOTH need to be hooked up in order for it to work? i have the red one hoooked up only as i believe the grey one is for heater but im still getting no action in vents.

Have a look here, credit to Ribbedroof for the pertinent info. You need to review the vacuum hose diagram, and go through the circuit operation to determine if vacuum is going to the correct vacuum motor for each function.

damn at 3 am i responded to his post linked. i do not have a water valve so it appears that i need to give vacuum to the grey line aswell. all my other lines are connected to the corresponding areas. Just feels the door behind the vents is pretty heavy and it was pretty stuck, to the point i thought it may not be a door at first. is the vacuum supposed to lift that door open?

ok. confirmed all lines are in their corresponding valve. also purchased a vaccum tester and i am pulling 8 inHg or 200mmHg (not sure what any of that means). i also connected th grey line to the same vac port as the other . no difference. however i did find 3 loose plugs. and realized i do not have a socket for hazard relay. yet my hazards still work.
