So in my infinite wisdom and getting excited buying parts, I bought a set of OE replacement style plug wires for my motor. No problem with the wires themselves, just that the spark plug end of the boot will melt on the header just about on every cylinder. Looking for a recommendation on a plug wire that will fit nicely and not have the long straight boot to melt on the header. I found these PLUG WIRES, just looking for feedback before I add another part to the parts pile of "I didn't need that"!

GMT360 v8 (Trailblazer SS, envoy, rainier) have factory 90 degree boots and you can grab a set for $30-120 depending how "quality" you want to go.

My Hooker 1 and 7/8 headers are touching my boots on 2 and 4 only.... Still have to figure that one out. Using Summit's wires which look almost identical to those above except wire part is red.

I used 1-3/4" speed engineering headers and Taylor wires designed for headers. I have absolutely no clearance issues on any plug wires.
