My th350 will downshift from 3-2 at 34mph and below and no more. I've tried adjusting the air door tension, messing with the atp screw, nothing. baaa*pause*WAAAAHH
With my other engine, I got the kickdown and air door opening perfectly synced. This engine has a bigger cam, headers, intake, etc than that engine, and 34mph is a dumb speed for maximum auto kickdown. Didn't they used to kickdown from at least 55mph?
Would messing with the governor help this at all?
