MALIBU Male or Female wiper motor

Hi my stock wiper motor for for my 79 Malibu Classic . I need to replace. Does anyone know what is the figment a male ? Or female.

'78-'83 had an intergraded mechanical pump. '84 & newer had an electrical pump. All in the cover.
