Crossmember doesn’t have to come from a g body I used one from a 1964 Chevelle 4dr I found in the junkyard 68 to72 have dual exhaust crossmembers along with 70 to 72 Monte Carlo’s not sure about The older BOP stuff I only had to shorten it an inch or two on both sides
Good idea but Too bad that stuff is hard to find on this side of the pond 😉

made this yesterday in a out 2 hours.its all made out of the stock 4l60e trans xmember(tahoe) and with the ears from stock gbody xmember.just need to cut my scrap square tubing or 4" round pieces for exhaust ,and plate the bottom side with 3/8 spare plate and BOOYAH--xmember for the price of 30.00(wire,and cutting blades.)

I really wish I still had (knew where in the hell it disapeared to) my Malibu wagon. The previous owner did a awesome job notching the crossmember for the 250 L6 that was in it when I bought it. Alot of good parts that I would love to have on it.
