I’m going to be getting the rear glass reinstalled on my 81 Malibu in a few weeks. I was wondering if there are any rubber blocks or anything that goes back there. I was in a bit of a rush when I pulled it out and I forgot. Thanks

Usually there is. About a 1/4 inch square and 1 1/4 inches long.

Sometimes they have a 2-part ratchet block set in the original installation

FWIW, I would urethane it in, rather than use butyl

It’s getting urethaned in. I was just concerned with getting it in the right spot. The shop I work at part time, does all their own glass. In 2 weeks when I go back a guy I work with will put it in for me. I just want to be prepared.
