At least when the weather gets a tad more warmer after this last snow storm we had. I have to get back onto the Starter replacement. So when I got this car delivered to me by the sellers I got started on the Starter. I managed to get the bolts off of the starter. My plan was to get the starter off have the end of it sitting on a broken but half'ed cement block so I could sit it down on one end and get to the solenoid connections easier. . however while loose the starter didn't drop down as I expected it would. Is there a bolt I am missing? do I need to get alittle rough with and shake the old starter loose? Not sure what to do here, very few if any youtube video's were made for this engine series and year at the same time knowing how heavy the starter is I am trying to be careful in the process.

look at the back of the starter for a bracket that is bolted to the engine block.

Okay will do, at least when the weather is warmer anyway, I'll post up my progress. Thanks. However now that you mention it I did see a small bolt above starter on the Trans housing. . . .

Thanks, Now all I gotta do is determine the nut size , Gonna crawl back under it.

Okay found the Bracket, Now with cold wind weather and a tried and failed attempt to get at the top bolt from underneath, there an easier way to access the top bolt on the bracket? Thank you guys for the help. Dang it's been frustrating to say the least.

O! thanks for that I was actually trying stick a 14mm with an angle head up there, just can't seem to get at it.

before removing that bolt I would put the two bolts for the starter back in loose so when you remove that bolt the starter won't fall
