Manifold port question

This is not a pic of my engine but I have the same thing except no tube sticking out. I just don't know what would go there. Behind the throttle body on lower front part of manifold

That port is at back of the manifold. It is half inch. Right next to it is 1/4 inch that needs to be run to the Terminator
I'm thinking I can just cap it off... ?

Looks like EGR to me. Make a blockoff plate.
