I would be looking for one for a 83-88 Monte Carlo SS. The shifter is comes trough the console.

Bought my car with a 383 and Muncie 4 speed. It utilizes the pedal box and bell housing from a 1978 el Camino that had a Saginaw 4 speed/305 combo I believe. It has the hurst competition plus shifter on it. There is a reproduction floor cut out, boot, shifter trim piece that goes over the shift boot, and the rubber piece that goes between the carpet and boot. But that is all for bucket seat non console manual cars, I believe...

Edit:
I see posted on another page there is a console option for a factory stick car.

Would this work well for manual conversion?

I took out a 200r4 and installed a Tremec tko 600, rated at 600 lbs torque. I love it and drive the car more now than ever. I went with a hydraulic throw out bearing so there was no linkages to deal with. The new brake pedal and clutch pedal assemblies are available for the hydraulic set-up. I have a 78' monte but my interior is out of a 86 SS monte. I used the original plate, and added a shifter boot from a late model Camaro. Here is the final product.

You just cut the stock console? If so did you use a dremal? I would be concerned that I would mess it up and it would be uneven.

The SSM pedal kit should work with a TR6060 right? I see it gives an option for which master cylinder you want to use. which brack would be the best to use?

If using a 6060 I would get the bracket for use with a tilton master. That will give you the most versatility with different bore and stroke specs. If I would’ve known that’s the route I would’ve went. Instead I used the f body master and a Toyota slave on a mechanical bell with a custom slave bracket

Yes, I used a Dremel. The boot I bought came with a lower mounting ring which made the cut out easy.
