Anyone have a good web site that mixes correct color coded paint in an aerosol can? I found a couple online but thought I'd ask. Could try for a local place too, but admit getting used to the click/buy/deliver to your door shopping has appeal.

Paul,
A good body shop supply should be able to accommodate you. I know the local body shop supply I use offers specially mixed spray cans.

I have a Painter's Supply around here and have had them make aerosol cans to match a color, once was a factory color the other I brought in a sample and they matched it.
But the downside is minimum purchase is a pint which makes 4 cans.

An airbrush or touch up gun would be better. Generally, aerosol paint is garbage quality, and even the cheapest paint gun sprays a 100 times better than any can.

Theres an old Jalopnik article out there with some good results, I believe the guy was doing some panels on a 3000 GT

I’d be painting bumper fillers, one side mirror and possibly a rear wagon spoiler. The car has original paint, I don’t need show quality or blending in panels or anything.

I vote for getting it mixed or buying a pint of single stage based off the paint code. I've used https://www.automotivetouchup.com/index.htm before with "meh" results. The paint shop pint was much closer in color, although it had a bunch more metal flake in it.

I have used https://www.automotivetouchup.com/index.htm

With good results about a 1/2 different times on different cars.

The problem is your paint is old and weathered even if it doesnt look it.

This paint is new.

A shop can match the weathered color.

The trick is to fade the paint into the old paint with something like an overspray
