Is there a company that makes the fender extension for the 80's monte Carlo SS out of sheet metal? I need new ones, but it seems like the regular ones are just going to do the same thing(warp and ripple), just curious if they are gabbed already or do I need to just make them myself.
Thanks

I haven't ever seen them in metal. I don't think they make them so either make them urself or just deal with the plastic ones.

i have'nt heard of a company that does make a "metal" extension, iam fabbing some up myself because im planning on eliminating the markers and front bottom spoiler.real simple if you have the urethane ones, thats what im using to make a template.

Yeah I wanted to shave the markers as well, I figured I would end up making them, but thought it might have been something out there already.

Yeah it just didn't make sense to buy more fender extensions that would just warp again. Plus I wanted to shave the marker lights so this was the only logical step.

Just checked out the elko, I'm diggin it!

Thanks! Lol I don't even have a template to work off of for the passenger side. But I enjoyed working on it, and am looking forward to doing the other side. Then I need to finish up the welds, and after I get the inner fenders tacked in, I'll pull the fenders off and finish up the inside welds on everything.
