Does anyone know anything about Ryan Thompson aka L67ss? Back in May he posted window parts for sale, which I mailed him a check that he cashed. Ihave not gotten my parts nor any replies to multiple PMs since. WTF?

According to his profile info he has not been on the forum for around 8 weeks. His last visit was early June.
That totally blows when it happens!!! Actually, I haven't seen him on the forum for awhile either.
Not sure if your bank can help but it might be worth calling them and find out if you have any options?
What sucks about this is that a seemingly avid forum member is exactly that, missing. Didn't seem the scammer type so you gotta kind of worry what's happened to him.

This is why if the part isn't more then $100 I don't ask for money up front just in case for some reason the part does not get there. An if I do get ripped off it's easier to lose the placed value of a part than cash. Glad to say that I have not been taken advantage of. Doug was the last member who bought a part from me and paid as soon as he got the part like we agreed.
I hope like others pointed out that he seemed to be a credible member and that something has delayed him getting the part to you.

Was the payment mailed where it went through or into the US? The US Postal service takes this seriously, and I personally have had success in getting my funds back after the Postal Service got involved. Just an avenue to consider if you can't get resolution in the usual way.
