Is there a write up somewhere showing how to modify the center console on a 83-88 Monte Carlo SS for a manual transmission?

The OP is over a year old, but I'll take the bait. If it's for an internal rail shifter like a T5 or T56, you just need to edit the shift plate to take a boot.

This would be to use a T56 magnum. Just trying to get ideas for when it is time to start modifying. I bought a seperate OEM shifter plate to play with.
