I'm with Mike. If they're not gonna dyno it, tell them it's a fvckin 305. Are they gonna check the numbers? Even if they do, will they have any idea what they're looking at? What are the consequences for lying and getting caught?
People who work at inspection centres and are responsible about engine swap stuff are always automotive engineers. Most of them are also car enthusiast and yes, everybody working there will see the difference between ironblock 305sbc and fuel injected LS1 in seconds. 305 -> 350 would be much easier heh.I'm with Mike.
