Monte SS budget build

oh yeah feelin pretty good right now fedex just came by 15 mins ago and dropped off more goodies!

Brand new everything:
-6 an wrench
hei dizzy
intake bolts
intake gaskets
intake plugs
fender cover mainly for my cutlass

these are the last items i needed to get this baby to fire up so hopefully next week the ss can get some street action.

looking real good! 8)
if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for hei dizzy?

Haha that was a damn good line! I've been active working and locating parts. I can't wait for the next batch of parts to come next week. Should be some nice updates that you' ll like.

It's was about $60 with lifetime warranty....from skipwhite performance on eBay and they have a real website too. A buddy of mine runs the same type but his has the clear cap and it's going strong. Another guy had his for 2 yrs then exchanged it for free he just had to pay shipping when his old 1 burnt out.

i was alittle skeptical on the ones on ebay but now that i know they last atleast 2 yrs ill go ahead and order one!

yeah monte87 thats how i felt once i found out about a couple of guys using it with success i figured it would give it a try.

okay so a few more pics to keep this thing rolling. I was able to get a rear sway bar from a 87 monte and here she is. later on it'll get a treatment of some sort.

i was also missing the bezel that goes over the marker lights in the rear but i have those now as well. Note, in the pic the bumper was not fully bolted to the car at the time i snapped these shots.

No Ashton Kutcher but this shot is a cool pic

and a teaser of my TT's......not mounted on the car yet but it gives me an idea of the look!

sometime soon i'll need to address my mirror issue and move them forward. right now its not cutting it for me. Passenger side i just got a gasket for, the mirror has been mounted now but the position of them is off.

a little before and after work of the dash for now.

what a huge difference that ss insert and dash carpet kit can do for a ride.

this is also helping the dash area out and i like how the old school style 90's radio looks and fits in the car. i just might keep it this way forever, i dont think anyone would break into the car to steal this.

fellas thanks im trying to keep this build going. summer is right around the way and i want her driving soon so i can hurry up and get to the body work that i need to tackle.
