Dame you aint bullshi**ing,that engine done made a drastic change for the better lookin real good.Im gonna let you know for you hear it in the streets j/k.Im gonna bite your painted carb,Ive thought of doing that before but have never seen it done and figured i would have to take the carb apart,Yours came out real good i was saving to buy a new carb but I have a 600 Holley carb that runs good but aint pretty ,im gonna clean it up and spray it and go head and get my car started back up 😀 .Gonna keep a eye on your build watched your cutty come along over on ecr and cardom. so I know this gonna be good.

I agree with you 100% on my alt a nice semi gloss is what it needs. i'll do the spray can thing but i may have a powder coating hookup so i'll find out if thats true or not sometime real soon. i have my fingers crossed because i want to PC all the sway bars and f41 suspension items if possible. For the interior i have a feeling your going to like it as long as your okay with my black and red theme. of course its not going to be stock nor wild. i think i found a good middle ground to with a custom touch to it. june 11th should be the day i shipping some interior items off if everything stays on track from now till then.

im just trying to keep at it this carb setup offers me more comfort while working on the project compared to the cutty and that efi. i just might be able to bring the SS to the vegas show if i can keep my speed up.

hey at least your honest. i know this build is going to give a lot of people ideas and im cool with that. on my cutlass i dumped $$$ to buy new new new and its not necessary. you can still make a new ride and keep things low budget. Im always thinking out of the box, it just takes time to apply my ideas to my project but the plan was to powder coat the carb originally. Doing that requires the carb to be broke down and mine didnt need a rebuild so i just sprayed it and its 1 of the best things ive done. 2 of my local friends plan to do the same as well. keep me posted i want to see how your carb comes out and if you have a question drop it on me. this year in the next month of so i have some big things for the cutty too. yeah keep your eyes peeled here because i still have plans to continue some good stuff.
Im on the same page homie, huslte get us to build or gbodys....lol....i try to flip n e thing i can find on craigslist to make a buck here and there, then try to get a good price on parts for elko...
Like the headers they are $265.99 to shipping runs about $300.00......well I found Advance Auto Parts and got $50.00 off n e thing over $100.00 free shipping n e thing over $75.00 plus an additional 20% off....lmao, I paid $212.45 total....They are a distrubutor and they send the part directly from Flowtech factory....So i saved about $90.00, which i can use to redue my exhaust when the time come to install headers.,.

Watching this build and driving warrens S makes me want another SS. I Gotta stay focused or I wont ever get my cars on the road....Paint guy will be coming by in about two weeks to check out my projects. i'll show him your pictures/renderings and get you a quote when he comes
