Being hacked up by previous owner. Fix: patiently undo everything the previous owner did and repair with attention to detail. Ask me how I know.

HEADLINER DROOPAGE!!!!!

No matter how well you take care of the car, the foam dries out and gets crunchy. Wind blows and boom,

Replace headliner. It's not real hard, but it is a bit time consuming. Plus the colors may/may not match up perfectly. Even the NOS headliner didn't match up perfectly. But guess what, it gets crumbly too and becomes useless.

Oh, yeah, rear license plate spring crunch on gas cap to hold it open. Over the years it'll start cracking that sucker. Get a flip down holder from a Camaro or do the mod to remove the 4000 psi factory spring. Damn thing's like an alligator. Plus, if the holder isn't mounted right, it'll let the plate scratch the paint near the bottom where it hits the bumper cover. You can redrill the mounting holes to slide it up a bit or put shim washers under the bolts to put a little space there to keep the plate from rubbing.

Anodized aluminum gets cruddy over time. Strip/polish or get reanodized, or find NOS stuff.

Doors stress crack on G47 Olds at top of doors. Weld to fix. Some people get lucky. Some don't.

Power antenna- plastic cable snapping at inopportune time. Inopportune access in fender to replace.

Wow I have nearly all these. I also know the rotted outer window sweeps makes the windows loose on the coupe. I have the rust, pretty much all the spots mentioned. I also have a stress crack on one door. Droopy headliner, yes, had to fix the blower wire, vacuum leak at the hvac, no factory dual exhaust or hump crossmember. Did anyone mention garbage wiring, my 88 is no hell.
