Motor mounts and clamshells

Hey guys looking for some input here.

Today I dropped in the motor I used Holley Ls mounts and kept the stock clamshell location, I now notice that The motor is roughly an inch too forward to align the transmission cross member and drive shaft.

I can’t remember which forum I read that mentioned that the stock clamshell location were fine.

What are my options here now?

Longer shaft and modify cross member?

Do I need different clamshells?

Or can I still some how move the engine back?

Ls Swap Oil Pan Hitting Frame on 84 Monte Carlo ss

Pulled the tired 305 out of my 84 Monte Cralo SS and putting a 2006 truck 5.3 in along with the transmission. Got the Holley engine mounts and 302-2 Holley oil pan. I can get the mount bolt in on each side but the oil pan is barely hitting the front crossmember. Called Holley's tech service but...

I dropped my LS into my elco yesterday and im have the exact same issue. im thinking that the motor mounts can be moved....
searching with you on this one bro. look forward for help in this area
