81 cutlass swapping to a 350 pontiac motor 1968 what mounts wld I use to mount in on cutlass I tried a 307 previous and motor set to high couldn't close hood with fan not hitting I'm thinking the frame mounts are for v6 the original motor pls help me out have motor in but won't seat down brackets on motor are sitting on top of frame mounts pls help ty

78-82 trans am's, 80's grand prix's with a 301 ponco motor.
I did a 79 ponco 400 in a 83 cutlass with the 79 trans am frame and motor mounts

So if I got the mounts 78-83 trans am mounts should work and brackets already on there for 350 pontiac should work or change them too ?

Frame mounts are 350 ponco? You said you think they are 3.8 factory v6 mounts.

Does the 68 motor have the housings for the motor mounts? Ponco motor mounts bolt to the frame like chevy mounts.

Did some digging on Summit, looks like chevy and ponco v8 share the same mounts.

Yes the brackets are on the motor 350 pontiac I need to know what frame mounts will fit into the brackets on motor I had a 307 in before it was to high this one same way but wldnt bolt down excuse the pic I have pics on my other phone if u can can u text me 810 834 6806 weld be easier to explain

Ty u so much for helping me out driving me crazy trying to get the right frame mounts u say ponto and Chevy share the same mounts ? So what should I ask for at auto parts store 68 tempest frame mounts or Chevy 350 mounts or 75-81 TA frame mounts or 350 Pontiac frame mounts I know I need one of these to mounts onto the brackets on the motor 350 Pontiac it came with the brackets can those be changed as well to match up with whatever frame mounts I need ty again. For ur help

need to know what you have now on the ponco motor, a bracket or a motor mount.
send a pic of the side of the motor
