So this is my first time ever to do a build thread. I always wanted to do one but didnt want to go through the effort lol. But right now im bored so why not lol. The car is a 2011 CTS-V Coupe. has 42k miles and was 100% stock when i got it. I have had it for about 8 months now and the mod bug has bitten hard. I mainly drag race it and fastest it has gone stock was 12.08@118mph on stock street tires. I plan on just basic bolts ons and maybe a cam and lower pulley in a few months. But for now just a few bolts ons. I will list them below. Plan is to hit mid 10's with the mods. We will see what happens.

Mod List
Grpitech 2.45 Upper pulley
DMS Flex Fuel Kit (E85)
1000CC FIC Injectors
KB Boost-a-Pump
B&B Catless test pipes
Airaid CAI with Green Filter
C&R Heat Exchange
Faster Proms 1.8 Gallon Ice Tank
Eibach lowering springs
Nitto NT05R's in rear (305/35/19)
Painted LSA Blower lid
Aeroforce OBDII Gauge

Exterior mods

Plastidip all chrome molding and grilles
Powdercoat Wheels
2.0in Lowering springs

Disassembly of the front to install the HX

Taking the center console out to install the Aeroforce Gauge, had to do a little triming to make it fit (fits in stock location of the factory clock)

Very nice! Unbelievably fast for a stock car, on street tires no less. Impressive!
Love the color. It's got an awesome amount of "flop", especially in the shade. Looks almost black in some light. Any chance you could share the paint code with us?

The Paint is called Thunder Gray Chromaflair. I believe the paint code is WA417P

Greetings Zdeckich & all; I don't have much to say, but WOW! You are one lucky guy, that automobile is very close to perfect. It Accelerated Very well, takes corners better than 98% of the other so called cars & I'm sure that it will stop in a shorter distance than all but a few Super Super cars! And like so many of us here you also seem to have a server case of the affliction, I can' t leave it stock. I'm in the middle of porting my Ls2 intake, plastic sure is a lot easer to remove than aluminum or iron. Enjoy & take care, Ole' Bob.
Ps: It seems that we have similar taste in automobiles?
Pss: Please direct me to or post a couple pictures of your Malibu, Thanks.

Thank you for the kind words. Beautiful GTO, looks like an 06. I had a 2004 GTO QSM/RED A4 with 06 tails, It had a few things to it as well lol. H/C/I and bolt ons. Loved that car. Always wanted the VX tail lights and front bumper.
