Traded an sks for this Cutlass, it had a 307 but its seized up so i'm planning a 455 swap in the future but for right now i have a 260? that i'm putting in it to cruise around i think she will be a pretty awesome sleeper when the time comes to put the 455 in it.

[olds307 and 403]

Looks fairly rust free. My 88 also has a 260/2004R and 3.42 open in it now, shooting for 30 mpg imperial. I had a non original 5A 307Y, Olds 403 and Olds 350, at 8 to 1 and 9.6 to 1. Fastest was mid 14's, not fast but not 260 slow. Throw as much timing as the 260 will tolerate, helps part throttle and low end, the only place the 260 makes power. Also at minimum Yukon spider gears in the useless 7.5", I broke it twice, once the no slip with slicks, the other time exploded spider gears horsing around on the street.
