BUILD THREAD My Calais Build

I figured I should start a build thread finely lol.
Started with a Maple on Maple Calais, Vinal top delete.
Currently setup for SBC, put in a create 350/700R4/342LSD, everything in fairly new (2k miles) from a wreck 87 MCSS.
Eventually it will be running the 68 BBO 445 I have sitting on the floor.
Started stripping and blasting.
Doing a quarter window delete like my first build.
Going to keep the Dark Maple 77 color with black trim and black spoiler.
I'm about 2 months into her now and coming along nicely 😎

Snagged the elusive aluminum hood and correct hood hinges😎😎
Stripped it and punched the holes for HO hood bump.

Patched up some trouble spots😡😡

Building up the bump, hood, spoiler and deck lid with primer, fun fun fun🙃

Going to pop in the sun 😎😎

Stripped out the roller diff, control arms, tank and duals. Put up on dollies,
Pressure washed and cleaned up to paint, cleaned up pretty nice

I liked the look on my first build, had to change from vinyl top windows to hard top windows, while they were out I said why not do it again.
Plus it will be one of a kind, like me 🙃🙃
