Talked to Cold Case, sent the pics, they called back & said the cushions need trimmed to fit along with trimming the shrouds inner ribs hitting the core. So now time to find a back up shroud to keep on hand. Now why didn't I just recore the old copper one? Again what fun would this be if everything was simple & easy...

Just seeing this now. You shouldn't have to trim the shroud at all.
Trimming the bushings is necessary at times, but not the shroud.

When I mocked everything up after fitting the bushing the "ribs" that would help seal the air flow hits the core & will not line up with the bolt holes. Works OK with the old four core & back up two core. Been on a break until I can get a second shroud to trim to fit to make sure nothing else is an issue. Sent pictures to you guys direct after a phone call sometime back.

OK it's been a month since I put any effort into the shroud soI looked at it today after looking for something for the wife in the garage. So since I haven't been able to make it to any of the local yards that still has any of our cars for one to trim (and that the budget is kinda frozen until the next job is found) I'll be putting on the big boy undies will trim the one I have as soon we get a slight warm up. If you can't cut something it's not hot rodding.

Did alittle cleaning in the garage to make some better space to work on this again after still not finding a local fan shroud to trim/cut. So more mock ups, more readjusting, more cursing in English & Spanish.

So the shroud still won't fit, can't shave any more off the Prothane pads, top of the core still damn near rubbing the top of the support, top of the tanks still making contact. Tossed in a two core with stock pads that has no issues, even did old three core with no issues. Now this is how I feel about this venture:
So now I'm looking at cutting my losses selling it & just hit Summit up for a copper/brass unit. All I wanted as a stock looking rad that was to be direct fit & didn't get it. I really wish I could find someone to recore what I have & be done with it. What a waste of $325.

Yep & haven't seen any. As I quoted the one reply I shouldn't have to cut anything on the shroud but no es bueno. Just wanted something to look stock but perform better, looks like you can do that.
