Wow...That looks awesome, dirtywhiteboy! o_O Nice work! I think I still want to go stitched vinyl-wrapped fiberglass, but your design looks sweet.

Thanks Cali, I agree the padded vinyl will be great, I just don't do upholstery :)
This is in large part is just practicing for a hot/rat rod interior I need to make......."in my free time"

Looks nice maybe an 82-92 FBody console would be a good start?

What's the switch panel for? Most stereos have all that stuff built in these days...
Will the wireless charger work that far away from the cell slots? If not, what keeps them from sliding off the charge pad?

Looks like a good gameplan, I am sure it will change some once you get into it. I had originally thought of doing a custom fiberglass setup but went the lazy route and got a 5th gen camaro console, I am still trying to figure out what to do with the space where the 4 gauges at the back of it sit. So as of now it is still sitting in my dining room, I would prefer to get that planned out before painting it the interior blue. But will also be using one of those charging pads, I had originally thought about putting it where the gauges went but think it is too far away so will probably just make it removable and put it into the cup holders since it seems to sit in there nicely.

Selectors for Bluetooth phone pickup/hangup, Song/Tuner select (backward/forward), Bluetooth/USB audio input, Satellite/AM/FM select, and line lock. I’m going for kind of a hot rod/retro-futuristic look. Think I want to keep a vintage radio face, but still have the modern features behind-the-scenes. I know it’s not everyone’s style, and that’s OK.

Meh, not about style, but if you can't do it yourself, it'll be a colossal cost for little gain. I'm just saying that my $75 JVC head unit already does it without a ton of custom work.

I was bored last night, and sketched this out for the idea I eventually want to do for a custom console for my wagon. Would love to see yours, or any feedback. I know you guys can be brutal at times, but I'm ready. ;) View attachment 101591
I think it looks pretty good. The correct stitching is gonna help bring it together. You could carpet the lower half and or add Concert Sound speakers also.
