My home made rear sway bar/control arm inserts

Finally found the inserts I made back in the mid '90's when I first put on the rear sway bar. Made them out of a pair of hinge straps I got at Builder's Square when they were still open but seen them at Tractor Supply yesterday.

They were welded where the bolt/stud loop & end met after being lined up with the sway bar mount holes, then sides grounded down to slip into the control arm. This is an idea for anyone who wants something better than the thin ones GM used.
