I saw an add for the new Centerline Convo Telstars and liked the look but I found very little info on them at the time and they were not even on Centerlines site yet (ordered 8-12-13)
I found them on Summits site but they only list sizing with no other info but I noticed they had a 15 x 9.5 with a backspace that would work on my car.
I always likes my original Convo Pros but to go wider the only option was a 15 x 10 with 6.5 backspace which would then require a 3/4" spacer (not happening) to be centered in my wheelwell.
I've been looking for a while to upgrade to a more modern rim without deviating too much from my original look so I ended up contacting Centerline and had them make these to fit shank style lugs at no extra cost and it took six weeks to get them.
So I now have 15 x 9.5 and 15 x 4 on my car instead of the 15 x 8.5 rears.

Thanks, the upgraded quality of these compared to my Convo Pros is amazing, the center has a machined recess for the washers where my old ones have just a hole for the shank nut and the washer sits on top and they also have nice machining on the back for caliper clearance.
Plus it is nice to finally use the space my rear frame notch added.

They do look great, lots of attitude. So how did you get those 295's to fit, will the wheel well lip hit the tire if low enough and how did you notch the frame/inner wheel housing.

The car is already more than 2' lower than stock and no issues with the wheelwells even if the car was lowered more the tires are tucked in enough not to make contact.
For the frame notch I moved the frame in so it was flush with the inner wheelwell with my 295/55 on the 8.5 rims with 5" of backspace there was still over 1-1/2" between the section width of the tire and the frame so I knew going an inch wider with .75 more backspace would not be an issue plus I knew the tire would have less bulge with the wider rim.

Good looking wheel...looks great on the monte.
