Well technically is not mine. But I am doing the drivetrain swap, power rack and pinion/ with new(to me) steering column, headers, and a/c.

Re: My other project 73 Maverick

Got a few more parts for lsx mav project. reman power rack ( 98 grand am gt) and a steering assembly off a 03 jeep liberty. That column is adjustable and made out of aluminum( really light) and what do you know it bolted right up to the chevy rack. The silverado power steering pump hose fitting threaded on to the rack too. Friend came by the shop who is interested in doing an lsx swap in his 240sx took a look at the car an said, " youre building a frankenstien car".

Pulled out the maverick steering components. What a wieght difference. Also mocked up the jeep liberty steering column. Actually just had to enlarge one hole and it bolted up. Dont mind the mess inside the car. I hsve been kinda using for storage.
