Many people may have sentimental reasons, or perhaps their car is irreplaceable to them.....or you may be the one who says, show me the cash and its yours! So just for fun and hypothetical, If someone did come to you and wanted to buy your beloved "G" body, cash in hand, what would be your price to let it go!?

1986 MCSS, rust free, original, great interior,

90% original old paint
$15000 CDN -around $12K USD
The above is what my head says, my heart begs to differ and double that amount..
Hundreds of hours were spent to refurbish and preserve it's originality and give the impression nothing, except cleaning, was done.

Nope, I am good. Clowns with cheque books can f*ck right off - they don't value your work or effort, they just see another possession in a fleeting moment of self-validation to fuel their vapid narcissistic tendencies. When I choose to move on it is on my terms.

Money cannot buy integrity.

I'll make it easy.

You can have the Malibu and the wife for two 18 year old FEMALE Japanese or Korean twins.

Had a guy offer me 4K a few years ago, at the time there was a 66 Chevy II 100 on craigslist I considered buying to make a clone of my old 66. (It still exists, but the guy I sold it to will die before selling it.) The family threatened to disown me if I sold it, they all have memories in it too. The older boy expects it in the will. So it isn't going anywhere.

Years ago I used to drive my Monte into San Diego, and people were always asking if it was for sale. One guy asked if I would take $10,000. I turned him down. Young me was stupid.

Love your story! Similar story with me as well three years ago at a car show. A gentlemen approached my 87 Grand National so rapidly it kinda alarmed me as i was sitting there amongst some new friends i had made parked next to me. He was walking around and around my car like he was in total disbelief on what he was seeing. I sat there and the way we were seated in the group, you couldn't tell who owned my car. The gentlemen approached us and asked "WHO OWNS THIS CAR!!??.. I want to buy it right now!!??" " I will pay $22,000.00" I couldn't even say a word before my new friend perked up and said " he wont sell it for that" lol... he knew me well, because i wouldn't have. Quite the experience to be honest, never had that happen before, but makes for a great conversation piece. BTW, BEAUTIFUL MC!

I have been offered $5k, 5 times.
I have been offered $7k once.
I have been offered $9k once.

That $9k gave me pause, but I declined.

My pop always said "Everything on this planet is for sale... for the right price." - For mine? $12k.
