Doing a search for some more wiring goodies on NAPA's site I saw they now carry Craftsman. Said not all stores will have them but are on the web site to order.

I am seeing the Craftsman tools everywhere now.
But everyone I see still says Made in China.

Try warranting an old tool at most of those places too. Twice I’ve had to walk back out of a store with my broken stuff because they didn’t have the correct part number to replace it with (regular stuff too, just older). I have no desire to buy any more “lifetime warranty” tools where I can’t get my piece of sh*t ratchet replaced when it inevitably fails on the third use.
When they were a "Sears" only
If they didnt have what I was replacing they would let me get the next closest thing to it.

I’ll have to try home cheapo near me. Ace and Lowe’s both wouldn’t let me pick up the next closest like sears used to.
On a different but related note, snap off basically told me to pound sand with a broken universal. It’s an old model and they don’t make parts kit for it anymore, so I was told my choices are buy a new one or buy a new one. SMH
