So far so good on the intake & carb change over...

With out these solenoids look'n things the starter would'nt start.

Can I eliminate them? Just complete the circuit?

or do they also "Talk" to that overwired distributor?

She runs so much better as the 2bbl was in bad need of a rebuild but I think I still need to do some dialing in

I was told in a thread at elcaminocentral that one is a vacuum delay for the EGR valve, and the other is for the distributor. You may not be able to use your stock distributor without it.

That's what I was thinking. As you can tell I hav'nt given them a home.

So Questions~

Can they just be bridged?

or Maybe electronic guts from an earlier HEI~

Thanks!

You ever had any trouble with the disposable frame clear plastic ones?

That one unscrews to replace the filter?

yes it unscrews to change the filter. It's not big but neither is the filter that's in a quadrajet so it should do the job
